Friday Evening Services
Our Friday evening services are held on two Fridays in most months – check the calendar for dates. Unless otherwise noted on the calendar, services are held at the Fort Collins Senior Center and begin at 7pm (directions).
Services are led by Rabbic Intern Scott Goldberg and/or Cantorial Soloist Natalie Fields.
Saturday Morning Services & Torah Study
We hold Saturday morning Shabbat services and/or Torah study on weekends when Scott is in town. Check the calendar for dates, times and locations.
We use Mishkan T’filah (“Dwelling Place of Prayer”), the new Reform prayer book, the first since Gates of Prayer was published in 1975. There have been significant changes in Reform Judaism in those 35 years, and Mishkan T’filah reflects the most current thinking about Reform worship and ideology. Some of Mishkan T’filah’s key features include:
- Complete transliterations and precise translations of all the Hebrew prayers, so that everyone can participate and understand what we are praying;
- Beautiful new English readings that speak to the diversity of Reform Jewish belief; and
- More than 100 traditional and contemporary song texts, to enrich the music of our services.
