Jewish Labyrinth Program – May 4th

We are bringing a new program to Temple Or Hadash on Sunday May 4th. This is for everyone of all ages, families, singles, and friends. We will be bringing a 25′ x 25′ labyrinth in the shape of a Magen David, and reviving this centuries old practice in Judaism. This will be from 10:30 till 12:30.

A maze – as many of us know – is intended to be a structural challenge. Starting from Point A, participants are challenged to make it to Point B, while avioiding as many wrong turns as possible. Labyrinths, on the other hand, have no dead ends. Instead, they have just one path that twist and turns itself to the cneter and back again, ending where it began though – because of the journey taken – participants feel and even arguably are different than before.
